Sports are an important element of a student's growth and development. They aid in the growth of psychological well-being as well as bodily health. Participating in sports and activities can help a kid develop a variety of skills, experience, and confidence that will help them develop their character. Students' sportsmanship should be valued, as it provides them with a platform to enhance focus, patience, and the appropriate level of confidence through various indoor and outdoor games. Summer party is a time for celebration & a chance to look back on all the memories, adventures, and struggles that have made up students time in school. Students expressed their happiness through dances, speeches & various activities. Students were also given achievement certificates for their performances in various competitions.
Picnics are one of the most exciting things that children and adults love equally. It helps us divert from daily life and adds a touch of variety to our lives. Moreover, a picnic can take us to another world that is different from the one we live in daily. Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park is one of the latest tourist attraction and activity based Science Centre of Pune region. The Science Centre houses Galleries on different themes of Science & Technology, Activity area, Inflatable Taramandal and an Auditorium. It also has a open air Science Park spread over 3.5acres. Most of the exhibits in the science center and science park are interactive in nature and visitors can explore science in an entertaining way.
Students will have so many adventures in their life but nothing can be as colorful as their school life. Our Students journey towards excellence is just about to begin and we wish them All the best!! We welcome our students on the first day of new academic year!!
Aashadhi Ekadashi is an auspicious day of Lord Vitthal and a prominent festival of the warkari community. To make children aware of our great tradition Sri Chaitanya Vidyalaya celebrated ‘Palkhi function with a lot of enthusiasm. The celebration encouraged the students to participate in rich cultural traditions of our country and to know more about our heritage. Students showcased their best by dressing up as Vaarkaris adorning themselves by carrying handmade palkhis and saffron flags. The importance of the tradition was emphasized by performing a ‘Dindi’ in which all were dressed up like warkaris and also Lord Vitthal and Godess Rakumai . Students danced to the rhythm of songs in praises of great saints like Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram. School also gave Prashdam to all who were passing by our Dindi.
The Guru Poornima programme was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal at Sri Chaitanya Vidyalaya.
Guru Purnima is a ritualistic celebration marked to respect the guru- the one who leads you to the right path of life. A special assembly was conducted by the students on the occasion of Guru Purnima by sharing thoughts and songs.
Students of grade 5, 6, 7 presented a beautiful skit on Eklavya’s story. The students took great pride in convening the special assembly and thanked all the teachers. They also recited poems. The entire assembly resounded with approbation and veneration for the gurus.
Teachers sang beautiful song on the occasion of Guru Paurnima. Everybody was overwhelmed by the heart-touching gestures and performances of the students.
Everything around us is an array of colors. Green is the most common color in the natural world, think of nature and see green in all its glory, expressing renewal, life, and energy. In order to teach our children about the colors in their immediate environment and to help them to develop an understanding of green color in many forms, Sri Chaitanya Vidyalaya celebrated GREEN COLOR DAY on 21st July 2023.
The objective of the Activity: The motive of celebrating green day was to make the students aware of how colour makes our world a better place and its significance. Students looked gorgeous and enthusiastic in their astonishing green attires. Classrooms and boards were decorated with green-coloured objects, giving a graceful appeal to the environment. They enjoyed their activity and performed enthusiastically.
Sri Chaitanya Vidyalaya celebrated the Navratri festival by playing Navratri Dandiya and Garba at Chonde Patil ground.
Students attired in traditional dresses added to the festive mode . The celebration started by seeking the blessing from Goddess Durga to protect our students from evils. Students were told about the importance of 9 days of Navratri.
Diwali festival is also known as 'Deepavali' in some parts of India, which literally means 'a string of light'.
The Diwali celebration at school often means a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning the class.
The activities permeate the school premises with an atmosphere of togetherness and hope.
Teachers of our school gave detailed information about five days of Deepavali and their importance.It was a joyful experience overall .
The most awaited day of the year is a school picnic. On a beautiful Sunny and bright morning of 11/12/2024 the cheerful , excited and young Minds of standard 1st to 7th travelled to Lekha farm, Dehu Road.
They were accompanied by School staff Teachers, Principal and Director. Students played various games and had delicious breakfast and lunch. Lastly the students danced with great energy to their favourite music. Everyone had a big smile on their face indicating they had a great fun.
Christmas is the spirit of love and generosity and of the goodness.
The Christmas backdrop -the red, white balloons, cut outs of Santa as well as the crib and the Christmas tree transformed SCV a festive Arena. Students from nursery to 7 were dressed in trade and white dress various full field games and competition they conducted with great enthusiasm and cheer.
Students dance on their favourite Christmas song and carols. Our special Santa came secretly and distributed sweets to all our students .
The color red stimulates one with love, strength, energy and passion. In order to infuse the concept of color red to the students we celebrated 'Red Day' on 17th Jan 2024.
It was an amazing experience for all our students.
Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence and truth.
In order to emphasize the importance of blue color, pre –primary wing of Sri Chaitanya Vidyalaya celebrated Blue Day on 27th Feb 2024.
The significance of blue color was reiterated through a series of activities. Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. All the children came dressed up in different shades of blue. The classrooms were decorated with blue balloons and umpteen blue objects.
It was a pleasant and a cool blue day for the tiny tots.
Sri Chaitanya Vidyalaya celebrated the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharajwith great enthusiasm.
It commenced by lighting the lamp and garlanding the photo of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by our Director Shweta Ma’am & Principal Rupali Ma’am. The girls came in dressed as Jijamata and the boys wore the costumes of Shivaji Maharaj, Mavlas & Mughals.
Various activities and cultural programs were organized and our students enthralled the audience by performing various skits, povadas and also danced to songs based on the life of Shivaji Maharaj.
At the end of the program Principal ma’am gave speech on the administrative & military skills of Shivaji Maharaj followed by his success stories.
Community helpers Day is a wonderful way to broaden the child’s horizon and help them learn about the world beyond home – their community.
Community helpers are people who live and work in our communities. Community helpers make communities cleaner, safer and more pleasant for other people. This topic is important as it teaches children some important learnings such as safety, thoughtfulness & understanding the way the world works. With these objectives to be achieved, community helper’s day was organized in the school for our preprimary students.
Our Teachers were attired as different community helpers such as Doctor, Nurse, Policeman, Postman, Pilot, Famer, Gardener, Fire fighter & Teacher. They walked a ramp with students and presented their views happily by saying few sentences about their occupations. They also showed the tools they use by naming each one of them. Children enjoyed this part of the day to the fullest as they saw the community helpers in person and they could relate better as they too came dressed as one of them.
दरवर्षीप्रमाणे यावर्षीही मराठी दिवसाचा कार्यक्रम उत्तमरित्या पार पडला . विशेष म्हणजे कार्यक्रमाच्या संपूर्ण सूत्रसंचालनाची जबाबदारी विद्यार्थ्यांनी घेतली होती. कार्यक्रमात महाराष्ट्राचाच नव्हे तर संपूर्ण भारताचा पाया भक्कम करण्यासाठी मराठी भाषेचे मराठी माणसाचे योगदान आहे. त्याचा आढावा या कार्यक्रमातून घेण्यात आला. विद्यार्थ्यांनी मराठीतील दिग्गज मंडळींची वेशभूषा केली त्यात . भाषण नाटक नृत्य अशा विविध कला माध्यमच्या द्वारे मराठी भाषेचा गौरव करण्यात आला. कार्यक्रमचा शेवट साने गुरुजींच्या एका गीते द्वारे संपन्न झाला.
